Brian recently joined Advantage after a highly successful executive career with Scotiabank. During the latter part of his career (20 years), he was responsible for driving credit card growth strategies in Canada and internationally and, for 7 years, had full P&L/management of Scotiabank’s multibillion dollar Canadian Visa Issuer franchise.
Brian’s experience has also encompassed responsibility for leading operations teams of 300+ while supporting bank card issuing/acquiring, contact centers, merchant and ATM networks.
Most recently, Brian provided consulting support to Scotiabank to help them harmonize co-brand partner relations as a strategy to drive business growth. He was directly responsible for re-negotiating large co-brand partnerships (Airline/Retailer/Coalition Program), evaluating the business opportunities, recommending the negotiation strategies and participating in negotiations.
At Advantage consulting, Brian brings a wonderful blend of deep experience in the banking and payments and merchant industry coupled with a proven knowledge of Canadian and International markets.
Brian is a business graduate (specialty marketing) from Sir Sandford Fleming College, Canada.
