Chris Theoharides – President
Chris is the owner and founder of Advantage Consulting Group, which he launched in 1993. Chris oversees day-to-day operations and ensures that Advantage always delivers our clients’ goals and objectives. Chris has more than twenty five years of payment industry experience, having also held executive positions with Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase.
His expertise spans a multitude of payment industry disciplines from strategic planning to portfolio analysis valuations and sales to card alliances and marketing strategies. Chris is considered one of the foremost industry experts on co-brand and affinity card alliances. He has developed hundreds of programs in the U.S. and internationally spanning a broad base of industries.
Chris is frequently called upon to speak, teach, and write about payment industry issues. He is responsible for instructing hundreds of industry executives each year on various credit card topics through presentations he delivers at industry forums in the U.S. and internationally.
On the Personal Side
Chris is married with three children, two boys and one girl. He is an avid sportsman outside the office. When he takes a short break from directing the activities of Advantage Consulting Group, he can be found cruising down a Vermont steep on a snowboard, dropping into a wave somewhere along the Long Island coast, or at the golf club trying to work out the kinks in his game.
